Basketball Art Show Coming to Bay Area

Our eyes might’ve gotten accustomed to seeing the sculptures made of clay, ceramics, stone—the classic yet nonetheless impressive materials. But a sculpture made of basketballs? We’re listening…

An art exhibit called Hoops Love is coming to the Bay Area this weekend. It’ll feature the sight you see up top, a sculpture of a 13-foot tall player—the world’s tallest sports sculpture—made by Gustav Gauntlett using basketballs and a pair of size 19 kicks.
