D-League Teammates Ejected For Fighting Each Other During Time Out (VIDEO)

These guys been hanging out with Z-Bo too much? On Tuesday two members of the Grizzlies’ D-League affiliate, the Iowa Energy, were ejected during a timeout towards the end of the third quarter of their game against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. The reason? They were fighting each other. You can see it in video below, at about the 45-second mark.

The two players were Jarnell Stokes and Kalin Lucas. Stokes, you might remember, played for the University of Tennessee last year and was selected by the Grizzlies with the 35th pick in the 2014 Draft. He’s played in 16 games with the Grizzlies this season and is averaging 14.1 points and 8.6 rebounds in the D-League.

Lucas, who played for Michigan State rom 2007-2011, is an undrafted player who’s been bouncing around the D-League and Europe since. He’s averaging 16.5 points and 4.9 assists for the Energy this season.
