Hoophall Classic Update

Arguably the most prestigious national basketball invitational there is in high school basketball will once gain feature marquee match-ups next month. With some of the most sought after recruits scheduled to play, the 2011 Hoophall Classic is expected to showcase the nation’s top talent, as usual. From January 14th-17th in Blake Arena at Springfield College, the stars of tomorrow will be on display. Adult tickets are $12 in advance from HOF Box Office and $15 at the door. For students/youth (18 & under), is $9 in advance and $10 at the door. All patrons that present a Big Y World Class Market Savings Card will receive a $1 discount on each ticket purchased.

Saturday 1/15
St. Anthony vs. DeMatha (4pm)
#5 team against #14 team in the nation, respectively. DeMatha boasts two Top-50 rated players in Mikael Hopkins (Georgetown) and James Robinson (Class of ’12). St. Anthony is lead by backcourt mates Myles Mack (Rutgers) and Kyle Anderson (#2 PG Class of ’12).

Oak Hill vs. Milton (8pm)
#2 ranked Oak Hill and their 5 Top-60 players square up against #3 Milton, led by Ohio State commit Shannon Scott and Vanderbilt-bound Dai-Jon Parker.

Sunday 1/16
St.Thomas More vs. Hargrave (12:30pm)
This match-up showcases the #1 ranked Junior in the nation, Andre Drummond, of St. Thomas More against a team loaded with 5 Top 100 ranked players, in Hargrave Military Academy. Hargrave is led by #13 overall player PJ Hairston, a UNC commit.

Monday 1/17
Dallas Lincoln vs. Findlay (3pm)
Myck Kabongo (#10 overall) headlines a stacked Findlay team, ranked #1 in the country. LeBryan Nash, one of the most explosive scorers in high school basketball and ranked #12 overall will guide Dallas Lincoln in this heavyweight contest.
