All eyes have been on Philadelphia 76ers rookie since he stepped foot on the LSU campus last fall. After one up and down season, Simmons declared for the draft and immediately became one of the most promising prospects in years, drawing comparisons to his mentor, LeBron James.
SHOWTIME decided to follow Simmons’ path for a new documentary, scheduled to premiere on November 4 at 9 PM EST.
ONE & DONE takes viewers from Simmons’ Australian upbringing, to high school and short stint at LSU in America, to his SLAM cover shoot, to rising to the top of the NBA rookie class.
The documentary was supposed to initially air on October 21, but was postponed after Simmons broke his foot during training camp.
