Travis Outlaw suffered the injury while boxing, and after undergoing surgery, he’s expected to be ready to play come opening night. From the AP: “Training camp hasn’t even started and the New Jersey Nets have an injury. Nets general manager Billy King disclosed late Monday that forward Travis Outlaw has a broken right hand. King released no other information about the injury, adding he would have more to say after the player was examined by team doctors. Outlaw signed a five-year, $35 million contract with the Nets in July 2010.”
