Reports yesterday rumored that the Grizzlies were trying to dip below the luxury tax. Today, Memphis did just that by dealing Sam Young to the 76ers for a second round pick. For the Sixers, Young adds depth to its Playoff-bound roster. The Daily News‘ Bob Cooney broke the news: “Sixers acquire guard/forward sam young from Memphis for draft pick. Getting ready to fly home. More later.”
