It seems like just a matter of time before Jerry Sloan hops back into the NBA coaching realm, but according to the Daily News, he actually had an opportunity to do so this summer…and declined: “Jerry Sloan was offered the Portland head coaching job, but turned it down. He still hasn’t found a job he thinks is as good as the one he had in Utah.”
