Childress’ Olympiacos squad kicked things off first Saturday by crushing Egaleo 90-65. In 23 minutes of action Childress had a team-high 16 points on 4-9 shooting from the field and a perfect 8-8 from the charity stripe.

Jennings’ and his Lottomatica Roma teammates had a tougher time in dispatching Eldo Caserta on Sunday. After leading for most of the game, Roma had to battle back from a six point deficit within the last minute of regulation to force overtime and finally prevail, 83-81. Jennings, coming off the bench and wearing number 11 in his pro debut, finished with seven points (3-10 fg), two rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes of action.
