They’re 100 percent good.

In the NBA world, athletes in that particular universe are subject to physical rigors that most laypeople cannot comprehend. For the elite basketball player, his/her body is his/her literal temple and principal livelihood, and while the roughly 400 players in the NBA put their bodies and minds to the test daily and yearly, those outside of that realm (in the so-called real world) also have become just as conscious about their fitness and health. The FIT is a series that will concentrate on the Fuel, Information and Training (F.I.T.) that it takes for both NBAers and laypersons to be at their very best in the world, as well as focusing on the literal Food, Intelligence and Technology that also comes into play in our physical fine-tuning – because after all, without having the vital fuel, guidelines and tech advancements to feed our bodies, help us better absorb and process what’s necessary, and make the labor efficient and effective, we don’t have much to advance our collective health and performance. The FIT is here to bring to light what can make us all the uniquely tuned creatures that we presently are and can continue or aspire to be.
The great thing about a bagel is that it’s filling, its versatile, and it’s easy to prepare. I’ve eaten bagels for all of my life, and have taken great measures to make sure that my bagels are ones that meet the exact specifications of my taste and expectations (it’s just the way I am); having said that, bagels are normally so carb-heavy and one-sided calorically…and not always in the best of ways. Obviously, if you’re eating them for breakfast, it’s not such a big deal, because just following the pattern of good diet, you want the most carbohydrates of your day to come in the morning, but what about if you want a good bagel in the middle of the day or evening, and it’s not even a workout day or anything? What if tonight’s not your night to ball? Nutribreads has you covered.
The makers of P28 High Protein Bread have introduced the new High Protein Bagel. Thankfully, I was able to try the prototype products and they are simply delicious. Like their namesake, each whole bagel contains 28 grams of protein (with only 25 grams of carbs, which is actually better than the ideal 1:1 protein-to-carb ratio). Made with 100 percent whey protein isolate, 100 percent whole wheat, and 100 percent totally natural ingredients, the P28 Bagel is literally changing the game when it comes to diet. Of course, protein aids in the
body’s ability to process and build muscle tissue and to also burn fat, and getting a bagel that has that property can aid in that particular sector of health is big; add on to the fact that you can get 16 percent of your daily need of fiber, and you can maintain a healthy weight or work toward cutting it down in a healthy way.
The P28 Bagels have good flavor — they are mild and pleasant in taste, even in being whole wheat products, which can sometimes be grainy and fairly off-putting in mouth feel. They have great consistency fresh out of the plastic bag, and amazingly, when lightly toasted, they are even better in their consistency when bitten and eaten. Chewing a P28 Bagel is very easy, and doesn’t require nearly as much work to eat as a normal bagel might require, which is significantly yeastier, it seems. They are soft, they are filling, and they are great as pre-exercise and post-exercise food. The versatility is excellent, as I both had a “raw” P28 Bagel with strawberry cream cheese and delighted in that; I also had a toasted P28 Bagel topped with seasoned salmon steak chunks–as Will Ferrell would say posing as James Lipton, it was “scrumpulescent!”
In all seriousness, the P28 Bagel is great to have if you don’t have a lot of time to prepare a meal to eat before you go to the gym and get a few runs in on the hardwood, or if you’re too fatigued from running a few miles up down the court to make a meal after the games have ended. I had nothing but very, very good results from the bagels and because of their healthy make-up, I was without conscience in consuming mine. The ballers will enjoy this, I assure you.
