What’s going on, if anything…

So, as you can see, things are still on the up-and-up over here. Sam and I are furiously working away, trying to get all this stuff figured out and clicking like we want it to. Hopefully SLAMonline 2.0 is going to be easier to navigate and understand.

A few other things worth talking about…
• Team USA meets the Germans tonight (rather, at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow). I’ll have notes up from the game as soon as I can get them online.
• Our man JD is putting together a big-time event in the New York area with pros from Ben Gordon to Andre Iguodala scheduled to appear, with some of the proceeds going to 9/11 victim’s families. You can check that stuff out here.

• The other big stories today are Nellie returning to Golden State and OJ Mayo transferring high schools. Other than that, it’s a sloooooow day ’round here.

    Yo… I love the US to death. I’m not German. I was born here. If we ever went to war with Germany, I’d be all for it. But Dirk will torch the US and lead them to victory. 100-97.

    I think the US need to worry more about Argentina….they’re so impressive, they absolutely slaughtered the turks last night whilst playing some beautiful all-round team ball. Still think the US are looking on track to take it out, seem ready to step it up to the next level….

    Anyone notice how Dirk’s eyebrows make him look like Cro-Magnum man? Also, if you have a recent picture of him, Tim Meadows from Satuday Nite Live could be a great “separated at birth” pic with your man Scoop!

    Well thats crazy making a Lego Dirk unless thats what I think it is. If only they made another one and I would of bought it for any asking price to put it in my Dirk Collection well…..Peace.
