Kevin Love done with college already?

A lot of people assumed he was staying, committed to the program, his growth as a player. Is he?

So guys, does Love’s skills alone make him a lottery pick?

Well, I’m sure whatever team drafts him will have a fun time doing promotional work with his last name.

“Don’t you just love Love? Vote Kevin Love for ROY”

    actually, I’m not sure now..

Tyler Hansb is gonna get owned in the League. Love his tenacity, but Kevin Love he’s not.

Is he a legit 6’10″? If so, big body + good rebounder + high bball IQ = good player in my eyes.

izzo, if i remember correctly, Boozer was more muscular than Love in college, he always had that stocky frame, but actually had muscle on him, i don’t think Love lifts weights at all, he probably just does basketball workouts, but definitely agree with russ that its easier to get in shape. He’ll be a solid pro at least, if he shapes up he can be a star

I don’t want to judge his skill level, because I’ve only watched him play one game last week, but I was really shocked to see how flabby he is. Is there a specific reason why he’s not in shape? Was he hurt before the season?

Ok, I’ll pop back into the convo now. LOTS of talk about how out of shape this kid is. Can we real quick discuss the difference between “muscular” and “defined”? Dude’s NOT flabby, and he’s NOT soft. He’s not particularly defined, but he is strong as sh*t. Does anybody really think you could averaged 12 rpg in a very good college conference being soft and flabby? Really?

It will come down to Kevin Loves BASKETBALL IQ. A fair B- I think is fitting. He understands a set-up offense. He’s got size, which you can’t teach (if Chris Dudley could have a full NBA career this kid can…) and I am sure, as any big man in college the key word is POTENTIAL. He’s got it in spades. PREDICTION: He’ll eentually establish himself as a top 10 centre/forward at the height of his solid 13 year career.

    go for it kevin love.

I think he (or his dad) figure he’s got time to get stronger and just doesn’t want to stunt his growth right now, or he may just be the type of kid that can’t ever stay at the weight room of the gym because he always sneaks off to the basketball court..

niQ, your comment got a good chuckle out of me.

Ryan: Okay, maybe he’s not flabby, that might be my foreigner english. But I was certainly expecting him to look more “defined” as you say or athletic, since he’s such a highly touted prospect and on one of the biggest college teams. And the common conclusion when a player looks like that is that he either did not put in the work or that he’s a natural fatty who won’t ever be able to keep the weight off. So you’re saying neither applies here and all will be fine in Loveland?
