VT Hands No. 1 Wake Forest First Defeat

Virgina Tech downed the Demon Deacons in gritty fashion, 78-71. It’s possible the loss could be a blessing in disguise for Wake, as they need re-focus before their Jan. 28 matchup against current-No. 2 Duke.
