A great coach, a talented group of returners, a sensational freshman, and back to back trips to the Elite Eight left the Memphis Tigers ’07-08 squad poised for a great year. Despite falling short in the final game to Kansas, John Calipari’s guys demonstrated the focus and poise of a championship team all year—characteristics which came through clearly in this photo of the team from early in the season.—Adam Fleischer
