Jimmer Fredette Tallies 42 in BYU Win

More on Jimmer — a college kid you should well know by now — via SLAMonline’s Scoreboard (we hope y’all are checking that often!): “Jimmer Fredette scored 42 points and No. 9 Brigham Young improved to 5-0 in the Mountain West with a 94-85 victory over host Colorado State on Saturday… Fredette, who leads the nation in scoring, scored 21 points in each half. It was the second time in three games Fredette scored more than 40 points, and the 14th 30-point game of his stellar career. Fredette made four 3-point baskets and hit 16-of-17 free-throw attempts. Emery also made four 3-pointers.”

he would definitely be a great energetic player off the bench in the nba

I root against ALL things associated with Bringham Young and Joseph Smith. Sorry Jimmer Fredette, you have no NBA future. Nice game tho

he reminds me of a less-athletic JJ Redick.

@tavoris, I don’t know bro Jimmer is a moves much more fluidly and definitely a better ball handler. I’d say they have equal athleticism…… But on another note- first things first, I’m not putting ANY clout into any of these 40 pt games until they play SDSU.

@Reeses I feel you 100% bruh, but I don’t try to knock them

two words, Danny Ainge. Utah will draft him if given the chance for sure.

less athletic than JJ Redick??????? Not even close, JJ can shoot but he is no where near as athletic as Jimmer and not the complete package Jimmer is. Jimmer is just on another level. Jimmer is POY and will have more of an impact in the NBA! His best is yet to come!

Most of ya’ll clowns are talking out of ignorance. Have you ever REALLY seen dude play? His stroke is the best at the college level, with range as far as a few steps inside half court. He has many slick, crafty moves for getting to the basket, and is tough minded. He can be every bit as good as a Eddie House- type player, and can be a real asset to any championship team. Keep doin’ your thing bruh, I ain’t mad at you
