Nerlens Noel Taking Summer Classes to Qualify Academically at Kentucky

Soon-to-be Kentucky freshman and projected NBA lottery pick Nerlens Noel has enrolled in two summer classes at Everett High to boost his GPA and meed the requisite NCAA standard. The Boston Herald has the details: “The courses began last week and are slated to run until the first week of August. Considered by many to be the top recruit in the local area since Patrick Ewing, Noel was recruited by virtually all the big-time programs, opting for Kentucky over Syracuse and Georgetown. According to the well-respected nbadraft.net, Noel is the second-ranked prospect in the 2013 draft behind Indiana’s Cody Zeller, should he decide on a one-and-done route.”
