Nerlens Noel Has Torn ACL, Out For The Season
Kentucky freshman center Nerlens Noel suffered a torn ACL during the Wildcats’ 69-52 loss to the Florida on Tuesday. Noel hyper-extended his left knee after coming down from a chase-down block with just over eight minutes to play in the game. The 2012 SLAM HS All-American’s injury just changed the complexion of the 2013 NBA Draft, in which he was expected to be a top pick:
Nerlens Noel has been diagnosed with a torn ACL. He is out for the season.

Noel will undergo surgery in the next two to three weeks and the normal recovery timetable is six to eight months.
