#26: Boys and Girls HS; Brooklyn, NY

Coached by Ruth Lovelace (a great coach who just happens to be a woman), the Kangaroos return senior forward David Imes and other talented players, while also adding wing Patrick Jackson, a prime Big East target and one of the most underrated players in the Big Apple.

    Coach Lovelace what a wonderful job you have done at Boys and Girls.(I went there to)I know we lost the championship game to Lance “Born Ready” Stephenson and Lincoln the point is we got to the chip. When I was at Boys ad Girls I can’t remember us ever getting to the playoffs let alone the championship game at MSG. What I do remember is Mr. Marbury pulling from almost half court every time he touched the ball boy did he kill us.(thanks coach Brown)Ruth Lovelace it is an honor to have you coaching the “High” and thank you for changing the program around but more so for giving young black woman a voice of inspiration and hope for a community that so desperately needs one
