I’ve seen him listed at 6’11″, 260 lbs. But, like Jordan, I believe he’s probably closer to 6’9″. Either way, he’s still a man-beast & will be splitting his time at the 4 & 5 with Patterson & Orton. UK has an embarrassment of riches at the aforementioned positions & should be able to handle just about any team in the paint. As for the two spot, well, that’s another story, altogether. (Jodie Meeks, you will be missed…)

Diffrent people around Kentucky have been telling me that people that have seen him play think that Demarcus doesn’t put out consistent effort. But, I will tell you this. If he does not put out consistent effort, he will not start for John Calipari. I personally think that he will be just fine, since he knows that
hes competing against very good players trying to take his spot, so if he dont put out the effort, somebody else will get his spot easily. Hes so good, that, I’m sure its hard to put out max effort all the time. Regardless, UK has a team put together like nobody has seen since the 96′ team that Pitino put together. This team could possibly be better than the 96′ championship team, but, it would help if they would win the chip before we begin those talks I suppose… I mean, do we all realize just how loaded this team is? You return 4 of your starting 5 from last year, including arguably the top big man in the nation in Patterson, then, you sign the best recruiting class since the Fab 5. Its really gonna be great to be a Cat fan again. I’m glad I stuck with them through all the losses, embarrassment, and getting made fun of because I was a UK fan, and I live in Kentucky. Thats how bad it got. Lots of people changed their colors and went to Louisville red, but not me. I’ve been there, and I will be till the day I die. All you bashers, traitors, and bandwagon riders, your day has come. Revenge will be so sweet.
