Notre Dame strikes on the trail
Fighting Irish land athletic wing from Missouri
By Antonio Curro – Midwest PUNKS Editor
Notre Dame struck big on the recruiting trail Thursday as 6-6 2012 SF Cameron Beidschied of Cardinal Ritter H.S. (MO) verbally committed to the Fighting Irish. This is an excellent catch for the Big East program as Beidschied has nice length, solid athleticism, and a skill package that includes the ability to score in transition and knock down the perimeter jumper. The key here is that Beidschied is really just scratching the surface of his potential so there is a huge ceiling for him as he develops his physical tools and evolves his skill package in the coming years. Beidschied started to take off with a solid performance at the 2010 NY2LASports.com Swish & Dish Spring Warm-Up this past April and he never looked back and is now regarded as a top 100 prospect nationally by most recruiting experts.
Beidschied played with the St. Louis Eagles program during the grassroots travel season.
