Oglesby in visit mode
Iowa talent looking at Big Ten and Pac-10 schools
By Antonio Curro – Midwest PUNKS Editor
2011 6-5 G Josh Oglesby of Cedar Rapids Washington (IA) took an official visit to Iowa this past weekend and he’ll do the same with Minnesota next weekend, Arizona State the weekend of September 25th, and Illinois the weekend of October 2nd. While his official visit schedule is in full swing, Oglesby has also been busy this week as his family hosted Minnesota Head Coach Tubby Smith for an in-home visit on Monday and did the same with Arizona State Head Coach Herb Sendek on Tuesday evening.
Oglesby is a combo guard with excellent size and length that he combines with solid range, nice court awareness, decent handles, etc. Long regarded as one of the top 2011 prospects in the Midwest, Oglesby is regarded by many as a top 100 prospect nationally and has seen his stock take off over the past couple of years with strong performances on the grassroots travel circuit with the Iowa Barnstormers.
