Presenting the McDonald’s and Jordan Classic MVP.

With Harrison Barnes, Kendall Marshall, Tyler Zeller, and John Henson all returning, North Carolina is on a mission to capture the 2012 National Title. Add Virginia native James McAdoo into the mix and the Tar Heels could be the favorites. Below are some pics from the 6-8 combo forward. As with many of SLAM’s “Punks,” consider yourself warned.

    UNC has the potential to more dominant next year than they were in the days of Tyler Hansborough and Ty Lawson, if James McAdoo and Harrison Barnes can play together. I can see both of them trying to establish themselves as the obvious leader of this team. That could lead to chemistry problems, and both will want/need the ball in their hands alot. But if they can co-exist together, UNC will battle Ohio State for the title of the best of college basketball.

    Iam a durham aka bullcity,nc native(now living in DFW) and ive got to say i haven’t been this excited about the tar heels since ronald curry and jason capel were hs all americans…we have had some good teams and players come through the triangle but right now unc has the top 8 man rotation rolling in college b ball….now if they lose in the tourney thats an upset!!!!
