Here’s a quick overview of day one at the NIKE Global Challenge:

All three U.S. teams advanced from the first round of the tournament with convincing wins on Friday, led by a commanding 103-58 victory from USA Midwest over Germany with impressive performances by Garry Harris (17), Jabari Parker (15) and Jarnell Stokes (15).

In late afternoon International match-up, Canada defeated Brazil 85-74 behind a game-high 24 points from Andrew Wiggins and a double-double effort from big man Anthony Bennett with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The USA West team had seven players in double-digits, including Aaron Gordon (18) and Matt Jones (16).

The USA East team was led by Cameron Biedscheid who finished with 23 points.
