Guessing this kid is playing against top HS talent since his school is in east Baltimore — should be pretty good in college.

  • Patrick Posted: Jan.6 at 5:05 pm

I hope he develops a reliable J and some remarkable passing skills. He’s gonna need them.

  • riggs Posted: Jan.6 at 6:59 pm
he better evolve because his style at the college level is not gonna translate. wish him the best though, stay level headed.

  • The Philosopher Posted: Jan.6 at 7:47 pm
His off the dribble game is a work of art.

  • bukey Posted: Jan.6 at 8:59 pm
who cares ? malik starkes is 2 years younger and he killed carr when he came to philly.

  • Eric Posted: Jan.6 at 9:32 pm
Not even that hard to stop him. Here’s what you do, Force him left.

  • Kilo Posted: Jan.6 at 10:10 pm
Picked Seton Hall over all that money in Italy? Why?

  • robb Posted: Jan.6 at 10:27 pm
    what riggs said

  • Hursty Posted: Jan.6 at 10:32 pm
Absolutely no indication of a left-hand.
I guess Seton Hall is hoping he grows a couple of inches.
All the best to him, regardless.

  • The Philosopher Posted: Jan.6 at 10:36 pm
Lenny Wilkens had no right hand.

  • Robin Posted: Jan.6 at 11:25 pm
this kid is too good. he has the passion.

  • Teddy-the-Bear Posted: Jan.6 at 11:28 pm
Lefties can get away with being one-handed a lot better than righties because almost everyone in the league is right-handed and can guard that side of his man.

  • Jukai Posted: Jan.6 at 11:47 pm
Not as intrigued with this kid as others are…

  • KSupreme Posted: Jan.7 at 12:25 am
Too many haters!!! All the stuff people are saying here has probably already been said to the kid….and he’s proving doubters wrong…..gtfo

  • MrAir239 Posted: Jan.7 at 12:54 am
I’ve seen this dude play, he’s quick and savvy. Could grow just 2-3 more inches but with hardwork and dedication, he’ll be a star in seton hall. Needs to develop a left hand though and pass a bit more often but he’ll learn in time.

  • Ryan Posted: Jan.7 at 3:02 am
@YKnoT he is standing up he’s just short.

  • Darkside Posted: Jan.7 at 5:38 am
He’s the next SPUD WEBB for sure he’ll be an assist leader if he stays in school.

  • Yesse Posted: Jan.7 at 6:14 am
This kid is dope. Can’t wait!

  • horsey Posted: Jan.7 at 7:58 am
He’s a junior in high school. Maybe let him play the game we all love before saying we’re not impressed and it won’t translate. If anyone on this thread had handles/game like that they probably wouldn’t be on the internet as much. Let the kid play.

  • The Philosopher Posted: Jan.7 at 10:11 am
    @Teddy:
Stephon Marbury had no left hand…

  • Bx Baller Posted: Jan.7 at 10:52 am
Interesting pick, must have been a nice check attached to the offer. Hope he does well, i love his game

  • love Posted: Jan.7 at 11:45 am
he can dribble with his left hand u cant force him left if u do he’ll speed by u and go back to his right hand

  • BlackPhantom Posted: Jan.7 at 11:56 am
    This guy’s handles are amazing.

  • 400SOAVE Posted: Jan.7 at 12:51 pm
Carr will be playing for SHU head coach Kevin Willard and associate head coach Shaheen Halloway. Both of those men were point guards in the BIG EAST. Their Xs & Os knowledge is outstanding. Willard coached for the Boston Celtics. Holloway is the all-time leader in assists at SHU. He lead the Pirates to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen. Carr will be practicing and playing for two of the most knowledgable coaches when it comes to improving and developing the skills of a point guard. Carr is already very skilled. He’s going to get much better when he’s surrounding every day with two great basketball minds.

  • Ben Osborne Posted: Jan.7 at 5:33 pm
Excited to see him play live in about 3 hours. I’ll have updates on the liveblog we’re running on the homepage.

  • robertmavs Posted: Jan.7 at 7:41 pm
amazing…im watching his video in youtube…lol

  • T-Money Posted: Jan.7 at 11:18 pm
if he gets that automatic j like boykins, he has a shot. he’s crafty enough to create separation, just a matter of he can hit a 15-footer like a lay up.

  • TheKid Posted: Jan.8 at 12:54 am
this is a good choice for carr. SH is a great fit that compliments his play style. Hes a pure scorer the Hall lets those types of players go and do what they want. Example Jeremy Hazell. I wouldnt be surprised if hes up there next year in the ppg column. plus their coaches were pgs so hell learn more about being a true pg

  • Taylor Posted: Jan.8 at 5:48 pm
I can’t wait to see this kid play!! Seton Hall is going to have a new star! Those NBA guys better watch out

  • DieselMechanic Posted: Jan.9 at 8:38 am
    one and done
