2014 PG Parker Jackson-Cartwright Commits to Arizona

On Sunday, junior point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright verbally committed to the University of Arizona, choosing the Wildcats over a bevy of schools such as UCLA, Arizona State, Gonzaga, Washington and USC. Although he’s only 5-9, the Loyola High (CA) guard has long been considered one of the premier players in America, as he can dominate the game on both ends of the floor, change direction on a dime and stay in command throughout. Jackson-Cartwright is averaging 14 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game this season for Loyola.

Three last names is not bad

They think we’re gonna be able to remember all those syllables? Whatever happened to just 2 names? Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Michael Carter Williams? They better step their game up. Wait, as I’m typing this I realize that they might have been raised by same sex parents? Anyone……..

    lol

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist added the ‘Kidd’ to his name to honor his uncle who passed away in 2011. Michael Carter-Williams’ parents divorced and remarried so he uses both of his biological parent last names.
