Always Hood
Mississippi guard becoming national prospect
by Antonio Curro – Midwest PUNKS Editor
One of the most explosive talents in the 2011 continues to pick up high major interest with each passing week. 6-6 G Rodney Hood of Meridian HS in Meridian, Miss. is already regarded as one of the elite prospects in the 2011 Class.
A gifted talent who can play either the 1 or the 2, Hood has the ability to takeover games with a lethal combination of playmaking skills, dribble penetration and scoring. Hood’s game is advanced, and, offensively, he can attack the rim and stroke the jumper. Hood is part of a loaded Mississippi Class of 2011, and schools across the country have taken notice.

Hood already has offers on the table from Baylor, Arkansas, Marquette, UAB, USM, Alabama, Mississippi State, Mississippi, Wake Forest, Clemson, Florida, Kentucky, N.C. State, Texas, LSU and Georgia. Add to the mix interest from the likes of Duke, North Carolina, Georgetown, Connecticut and USC, and it’s easy to see why Hood is considered to be a major dude.
Rodney Hood plays for the MBA Hoops Elite Grassroots travel program based out of Mississippi.
