Bishop Daniels Taking Off
This North Carolina prep talent is rising fast
by Antonio Curro – Midwest PUNKS Editor
While the 2010 class promises to take center stage this spring/summer, the 2011 class is absolutely loaded with talented young prospects on the cusp of exploding nationally. One of those prospects is 6-2 Guard Bishop Daniels of Word of God Christian Academy in North Carolina.
A skilled young perimeter talent, Daniels has the ability to take over games offensively with a lethal mid range game, the ability to attack the rim, and explosive athleticism. Add to the mix solid ball handling, good instincts, and nice size
for a young backcourt prospect and you have the recipe for a major dude and elite national prospect.
Daniels continues to impress every time he takes the floor. As he continues to develop his skills, improve the consistency and range of his perimeter stroke, and mature physically, you can expect to hear an awful lot about him over the next couple of years. Wake Forest and and N.C. State have already offered the young talent while a host of major programs including, North Carolina and Memphis are showing interest as well. Expect that list to grow substantially over the next 12-24 months as Daniels is definitely a major talent on the come up in the 2011 class.
Daniels will play for the North Carolina Celtics on the Grassroots travel circuit this spring/summer.
