Elite 24 Coaches Announced

Rajon Rondo, Kevin Love, Brandon Jennings and Tyreke Evans to coach Boost Mobile Elite 24 teams.

ESPN Rise announced today that the Celtics’ Rajon Rondo, the Timberwolves’ Kevin Love, the Bucks’ Brandon Jennings and the Kings’ Tyreke Evans will coach the Elite 24 on Friday, August 21 at 7 elite24-in-500-211x1391p.m. ET. New York Knicks forward Wilson Chandler will join Rondo and Jennings in judging the slam-dunk contest, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. The contest will feature the six best dunkers on the Elite 24 roster.  Eight of the players named to the game have already committed to colleges, which include Dion Waiters to Syracuse, Terrence Ross to Maryland, Myck Kabongo and Tristan Thompson to Texas, Austin Rivers to Florida, Jared Sullinger to Ohio State, Kendall Marshall to North Carolina, and Will Barton to Memphis. The game will be televised on tape delay Saturday, August 22 at 7 p.m. E.T. on ESPNU. For the complete Elite 24 game rosters, click here.
