  I am not a Kobe fan to say the least, but I love this year’s shoe. It looks a lot lighter than it truly is, though.

  @Reggie: it’s sturdy, but it weighs about the same as a LeBron, and I find all of his shoes to be on the heavy side. 16-17 ounces.

  The Kobe III’s are not the best looking shoes to come out, but they are one of the most comfortable. The shoe is not as heavy as what Dan said. The shoe is one of the lightest signature shoes out right now. The only problem is for those who where true ankle socks will have to get them to come up to the top of the tongue. It rubs that area raw. Otherwise…7.5 ON DESIGN…9.25 ON COMFORT

  I’ve been working midnights I’m baaaacccckkkkk!!! The Black Mamba is in my top ten all time! Forget the man it’s about the shoe and when you see his Olympic color way too sweet and he broke out the all white and a can of dunk-ass on Wade and the Heat last night. Feel the Mamba and he gonna fly all over the blazers tonight. Please fire Isiah Thomas!

  I did’nt like’em at first but when I saw them in the Lakers colorways I was hooked!!! and I don’t know why they are saying that these Zoom Kobe III’s are heavy? ZKIII’s & LBJ V’s what can I say? I’m a t-shoe freakozoid!!! I just gotta have’em?

  whoever said this shoe is heavy is nutz, put em on a scale or wash your feet b4 u put the Kobe’s on i can tell u that this is one of the lightest shoes ever. You will have to wear longer socks (ankle-sock kinda guy myself). They do look spiderman IIIish but while on with the right gear they look unique nothing but compliments from the Mavs fans. Where can i buy the white ones at?

  These are one of the best kicks although I also loved the KBZII, this year they made it lighter and a littl more flexible (I guess).

  its actually quite a bit lighter than lebron’s i think its around 13 oz
  I have a pair and its one of the best and most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. one down side is that the grip isn’t as good as i would hope for but whatever its a lot lighter

  I like them, but not the all black ones. These shoes are super light, and pretty sturdy too. They have a good grip too.
