  They were my favorite performance basketball shoes ever, too. Plus, except for the Shox columns themselves, the design was delightfully understated. If any shoe needs a wider re-release, it’s these.

  been wearing Shox since late 2000. Bought ALL regular models though i never liked the VC-Shox line (only had the bb4 beauty). Favourite Model? Last year’s model, the ones Maxiell still loves wearing. Recently made the switch to HD’s and i love em, but still got the latest Shox in reserve, in case the famed “lunar foam degradation” sets in. Are the Bb4’s gonna be released in the sydney gold medal game colour? (blue/gold)?

  Yesss!!!! New school classic!! Need a pair. I remember seeing boxes of these sneakers in a sportshop in London a couple of summers ago, came back in afternoon, all gone. Need a pair just to make up for that.

  i got them in black white and blue I played on em till well I got the new model shox from my team haha but these shoes were nice. I remember just before they came out we could test them at a local basketball event we could play till 5 3 on 3 well we played about 20 games or so on them haha ah good times…

  I just went down memory lane (and google) to see just how much i loved giving Nike money for regular Shox shoes over the years. A list of all Shox i owned, and the very few that got away, favorites from top to bottom: Shox Status: simple, comfy and very responsive
  Shox Testify: only one i bought in 3 colours. superb fit (Maxiell still wears ‘em)
  Shox elevate: i had one pair, & nearly went mental chasing after more. LOVED the look.
  Shox Limitless: unrollable, first Nike ID’s (my nickname and no. on those drove teammates and opponents wild, back in europe)
  Shox BB4: iconic cause of Vince. average fit
  Shox Leaper: gorgeous in pure black. sadly nearly as bad as the Hyperflight for killing your ankles.
  Shox Jumpoffs: 2nd ID shoe, they wobbled QUICK
  Shox Slam: 08/09 model, a bit clunky. Switched to Hyperdunks.
  Others i had but didn’t enjoy:
  Bomber, Up’s, Elite II TB (How Camby can keep wearing that unsafe shoe is beyond me), certified (loved JET in em, me in them? not so much).
  The one’s i’m glad got away: Spotlight (strange) & Stunner’s (even stranger)
  The WORST fitting Shox of all time: Shox Lethal (nomen est omen)
  The ONE that i wanted so bad and were gone in a flash: Shox Xplosion. worn by Lamar during his Miami days. LOVED that shoe, never could find them.
  Looking forward to the Shox Vision this summer. Looks like a winner in the pics. Might like the Hyperdunks right now, but nothing beats them Shox. Right Mr’s Prince, Mydyess, Powe, Kirilenko, Maxiell, B-Miller, Carter?

  I was a fan of the VC3’s remember those? I’d buy those if they got retro’ed for sure. For ball they’re in my top 5 with Jordan XVIIs, Jordan XVIIIs, Kobe IVs, and the Air Max Uptempo’s 1996-97.

  man, I remember having these pair when I was on 6th grade,it was a gift from my momma, I had to choose between the bb4’s and the jordan 16’s that time and I chose the bb4, I sort of regret choosing it over the 16’s but they are great ball shoes and very comfortable too…
