  This sample has been around since August - don’t be surprised if it drops in a slightly different make up… I saw this at Nike’s Australia headquarters then… a lot lighter than it looks, but a bit… ugly. Then again, everyone thinks the ‘new’ AJs are ugly at first glance. Then ya get used to them - they are always totally polarising.

  @TMT Remember, that 2 on top of the 3 has been around since at least the Jordan XI. And I think Andrew’s got a point. Just about every J is hated when it first drops, just like the LeBrons have the last few years as well. Most of them have won people over as the season progressed.

  UGLY. Jordan Brand has to step there game up Im not feeling the shoes they have been dropping lately other than the Melos. These are nasty they look like Kobe IV and D-Wade Converse shoes mixed with a speaker in the middle.

  The toebox is good. The rest of the upper is not. There’s too much going on - which is a bad thing, and a move away from the clean look of the last few successful J’s.

  I have been a jordan fan forever. These days I have been a bit displeased with the couple of pairs he made. It looks like he is trying to expirement with something new. He should stick to the basics and stop over doing it. These are for sure the worst to date.

  These pics look awful, but the actual shoe looks much better. I think some more simple color ways will reduced the cluttered feel that the shoe posted here shows and to a lesser degree the one shown off by Tinker in the videos at jumpman23.com. Watching the videos, they look like they will be fantastic performance shoes. I also think these will become very popular because they will be more sneaker like. 2k9’s are almost like a dress shoe, and I think that hurt the sales because the current trend is for a sneaker-ish shoes not elegant performance shoes like the 2k9.

  Too bad. I felt like the AJs had a rebound with the last two releases. The AJ XX3 and AJ 2009s were both tight. But these are ugly. Maybe it’s time he hangs up the AJ line?

  Yo who ever said Iron Man, BINGO!!! Brand Jordan needs to focus on the retro lines, over and over!! We’ll never stop lovin the OG J’s.. Like Space Jams for instance! Or Blk/Cement 4’s!! Tinker Han tanked! And for what it’s worth, The Melo Line is and has been WACK! Drop the line YO!
