Picture of John Wall Reebok Shoes Unveiled

John Wall Reebok shoe

The John Wall era unofficially began for the Wizards this morning at approximately 11 a.m., when he went through a solo pre-Draft workout at Verizon Center. He came through with these Reebok sleds on his feet: “John Wall wore these shoes at his workout today, and later confirmed that they will be the shoes he will wear in his first NBA season. It remains unclear whether this is one of his two signature lines (they look more like the Reebok basketball Zigs in white and blue), but Wall did say that those were the shoes he would wear next season. Maybe he just meant the brand.”

  • Mr. Royal Posted: Jun.17 at 2:57 pm

  • Ed Beater Posted: Jun.17 at 3:00 pm

  • letsmotor Posted: Jun.17 at 3:12 pm
i know this is totally subjective, and i’m sure some people love them… but i want to throw up all over those shoes just to make them look better.

  • jedi420 Posted: Jun.17 at 3:47 pm
    Wow they are ugly..

  • Rodger Bohn Posted: Jun.17 at 3:54 pm
I can truly say that you couldn’t pay me to wear those. Don’t know why they didn’t go with more of an old school approach. Could’ve had potential.

  • Mitya Posted: Jun.17 at 3:59 pm
reebok is a no-no other than some of the Iversons and Kamikazes

  • Jake Posted: Jun.17 at 4:14 pm
Those are some ugly kicks.Reebok was at it’s peak with the Iversons and X Beams.I’ve still got my X beams from 9th grade and they’re one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn hands down but the John Wall shoes are nasty. Who designs their bball shoes now?

  • shone jones Posted: Jun.17 at 5:28 pm
    Awful.

  • Gasface Posted: Jun.17 at 5:48 pm
Why does Reebok have to put their big assed name on the back of the shoe? The logo’s enough. All these years and they still don’t get it.

  • Pardeep Posted: Jun.17 at 6:29 pm
Should have done Questions 2010 edition added some new school to it.

  • slamfan4life Posted: Jun.17 at 6:43 pm

  • Picker Posted: Jun.17 at 6:56 pm
They look great! Loving them Reeboks. “Slowest shoes ever”, whatever. Wall and Reebok make a great team.

  • Zanzibar Posted: Jun.17 at 6:58 pm
I agree. It’s great for everyone. So pleased. Reebok and Wall are excellent together.

  • ktokyo Posted: Jun.17 at 7:18 pm

  • bbn34 Posted: Jun.17 at 8:49 pm
I don’t like them either but if someone gave me 25 million to wear them… Represent the big blue nation John.

  • Seven Duece Posted: Jun.17 at 8:53 pm
is that even a new design? looks very reminiscent of the shoes they’ve dropped this past year. not that i’m a fan.

  • San Dova Posted: Jun.17 at 9:30 pm
    Ehhhhh…

  • Krazed Posted: Jun.18 at 1:36 am
i hope that Reebok will have a retro version of the Kamikaze 1 (not feeling the 2010 version though it’s tight) and have John rock it this season (or a version of the Blast which Nick the quick used to rock during his stint with the Lakers) Would have been better had he signed with the swoosh though. Best of luck to you and Rbk, J.W. 11!

  • LilKDub503 Posted: Jun.18 at 2:59 am
He signed with Reebok because his handler Brian Clifton works for Reebok. Otherwise he probably would’ve been another Nike guy.

  • nastierthanu Posted: Jun.18 at 5:13 am
    Hideous

  • Joe King Posted: Jun.18 at 5:55 am
Guess i’m the only one who likes them then..

  • nike air jordan Posted: Jun.18 at 7:05 am
i really like to wear the shoes made of Reebok as it is very comfortable to me. i am a player of my college football team and want to give my 100% in the field so it really suit me .

  • me Posted: Jun.18 at 10:55 am
The only reason john went with them was cus he wanted to make his own name and not just be lebrons shadow!he dont wanna be compared to anyone he wants to be known as john wall not the guy the plays like rondo!

  • BETCATS Posted: Jun.18 at 11:06 am
looks like 4 previous reeboks i have seen mashed together into one ‘thing’. $39.99 sale rack at finishline is going to be filled up soon.

  • e Posted: Jun.18 at 3:10 pm
those arent his signature shoes lastly iverson had the best reeboks ever with the questions

  • Q-Tip Posted: Jun.18 at 9:35 pm
Ever since the last good pumps reebok has been in a total downhill slide

  • jarrod Posted: Jun.19 at 12:09 pm
Needs to bring back the PUMP for real. That was the best show REEBOK ever made.

  • Spencer Swisher Posted: Jun.19 at 9:52 pm
    Terrible

  • Ali Posted: Jun.20 at 2:25 am
its a smart move by wall to sign with reebok because this way he will be the face of reebok basketball internationally and he got more money than nike would have given him. if he had signed with nike he would have been 1 of the many talented players on the nike basketball camp, but with reebok he has no competition, its him and yao ming. so investment wise he made a great choice BUT he should make reebok make him make shows similar to what nike is making for kobe, he is a point guard and needs light weight soft shows thats also appealing to the fans to buy, his shows at the verizon centre work out looks more of a vince carter kinda shoes.. desiged for dunkers not to mention it also looks like a walking billboard with reeboks name and logo covering most of the shoe. good and smart deal but ugly shoe. but i have a feeling that these wont be his shows, they only signed the contract last week, it takes time for reebok to design a show for him, he is probably just wearing these shoes until the season start… i hope.

  • MVP_032 Posted: Jun.20 at 8:44 am
Shoes don’t make players, if he is good he can play in socks..

  • DreXnaW21 Posted: Jun.20 at 11:35 am
john wall… out of all the brands why Reebok????? NIKE IS WAY BETTER or ADIDAS at LEAST.
    seriously…

  • J_Paco Posted: Jun.20 at 2:08 pm
Why does ever pro baller need to sign with Nike? Let John be his own man and create his own identity with RBK. The shoes are only meh, but the design is very similar to the Nike Zoom Kobe III because of the perforated upper. Maybe they’re a great performance shoes and that will shine through? We’ll find out this Fall.

  • Reebok Designer Posted: Jun.20 at 3:25 pm
Why is Nike better?..lol everyone seems to have such a strong opinion about a shoe they know nothing about…Does NIKE have a shoe that you place in the oven and will mold to your foot? Does Nike have a shoe that that recycles energy? Well guess what? That zig recycles energy (literally)

  • invAZN Posted: Jun.22 at 1:04 am
for $25million, i’d wear crocs to play ball -

  • Hey Now Posted: Jun.22 at 10:58 pm
Those shoes are awesome. They look like the ZIGS that came out this year. Is there going to be Zig basketball? Can’t wait!!!

  • Dave Posted: Jun.23 at 1:11 am
Reebok is a quality company. It’s got great longevity and a great team behind them. They’re sneakers rock and my whole family wears them on the courts. Wall was wise on this one. Money goes where success goes and success is in this pairing, my friend.

  • Christopher Posted: Jun.23 at 1:12 am
Reebok is solid. If you read up on it, they have engineered a shoe specifically for the courts and spent a good deal of quality time doing so. They’re ready to burst out with this winning team with the excellent Zig and the amazing John Wall. No doubt.

I’m seeing all these comments about why John didn’t sign w/ Nike. Nike already HAS a bunch of superstars, they don’t need John Wall. It was Reebok who approached wall because they need a new icon for the future after A.I. retired. Also they’re paying him 25 mil for this deal. That’s more than enough for John to want to sign with Reebok over anyone else.

  • Javy Posted: Jul.8 at 2:01 pm
Wow, my eyes hurt. I’ve been waiting for the Iverson’s Question to come back….
Sometimes I think I might have a chance in advertising/design/marketing.
Where does Reebok get this ideas from….
    Nasty shoes!!!

  • rick.t Posted: Jul.26 at 2:16 am
Man bra dey hatin dey GO HARD to me

  • Dre Posted: Jul.31 at 7:59 pm
The Zig technology is good… I don’t like the way the zig zag really looks from the side but it feels good on the feet. I have the running shoes.

  • Conner Posted: Nov.23 at 9:05 pm
    I think they look BEAST!!!!

  • Calvin Posted: Jan.6 at 9:55 pm
Bought my 12 year old son a pair to play in this season, he LOVES the shoe. We purchased the Red/White and Black. As a HS Basketball Coach I have always though Nike was all hype….looks good but cheaply made and prefer Adidas or Reebok, but the Boks have not been pleasing to the eye.
