Jordan Brand And Skull Candy Mix It Up
A limited edition pack for the World Basketball Festival.
As a key component of the upcoming World Basketball Festival in NYC, Jordan Brand has announced another WBF-specific retail release for this week.
Starting Thursday, August 12, Harlem sneaker store Atmos will transformed into a Jordan-only pop up store. Atmos, along with the House of Hoops in Harlem will be carrying some exclusive product.
One of those exclusive products is a collaboration between JB and Skull Candy. The two have come up with the Air Jordan IX retro x Skull Candy “For the Love of the Game” pack (see pics below).
A few notes on the shoes from JB:
- Re-engineered classic inspired by Japanese influences and the global reach of Michael Jordan’s legendary status.
- The University Blue colorway represents MJ’s roots and the Brand’s North Carolina heritage
- The heart design on the shoe reflects Jordan’s motto, “For The Love Of The Game”
- The sole features multi-lingual details that represent the globalization of the Brand
And just to keep it limited, there have only been 23 packs made.
