All of your All-Star footwear in one spot.

For some people, the NBA All-Star weekend is a time to watch stress-free hoops and to enjoy the League as it showcases itself. For others (LeBron, D-Wade), it’s a time to scout out potential future teammates. And to a growing number of people, All-Star is the biggest sneaker weekend of the season.
Every year it seems like the sneaker companies and sneaker retailers find new ways to top themselves. From the Air Jordan 2011 unveiling in three different colors at Footaction in Culver City — a three-day affair that’s riddled with Jordan Brand athletes stopping in to visit — to the LA-themed sneakers that Nike has created for the weekend, brands (Nike and JB, at least) are finding ways to take player exclusives and the hype they create to another level.
Over the last few weeks and months leading into All-Star, pics of shoes that will be worn in the game have trickled out online. With that in mind, I’m not breaking any big news here today; I just want to offer a comprehensive wrap of who will be wearing what and what you can look forward to seeing over the weekend. If new shoes pop into the picture, I’ll add them back here throughout the next couple of days.
Let’s start with Nike. When I was in L.A. a couple of weeks ago, Nike set up a small display in their suite at Staples Center of what LeBron, Kevin Durant and Kobe would be wearing this weekend. A pic I snapped from there is below, with some closeups of each sneak, via CounterKicks. Nikebasketball.com has a picture up on their site of their big three’s sneaks, plus the East and West version of the Air Max 360 BB low. In the background are the variations of the L.A.-themed Kobes (East L.A., Orange County and the 3D Hollywood sneaks) and their Hyperfuse Low counterparts.
adidas is looking to grab a lot of attention for Derek Rose this weekend, decking their MVP candidate out in two different shoes for Sunday’s game. He’ll wear the new adizero Rose 1.5 for one half of the game and these yellow adizero Rose’s for the other half. Pics via CounterKicks.

Tim Duncan and Serge Ibaka will both be wearing the adiPure this weekend for adidas. Duncan will have the red ones on come Sunday and Ibaka will look to steal the show in the dunk contest and the Rookie-Soph game in the yellows. Also be on the lookout for a fantastic Lakers-colored adidas Crazy 8 that’s hot enough to make Kobe a little reminiscent about his younger days.
Not forgetting about their other MVP candidate, adidas will have Dwight Howard rocking these Super Beasts. Pic via CounterKicks.
Next up is PEAK (many thanks to SLAM’s Maurice Bobb, who was at a PEAK event Thurs. night, for the pics). The Chinese brand has two of its players involved in this weekend’s activities. Kevin Love will be rocking a straightforward red version of the brand’s Relentless.
Dorell Wright will have his G-State colored PEAK Team Dynamic in the three-point contest.
Reebok will deck John Wall out for the Rookie-Soph game in a Clippers-friendly version of the ZigSlash. Pic via CounterKicks.
Brandon Jennings will look to go 2-0 in the Rookie-Soph game, possibly in the Under Armour Micro G Blur. Pic via CounterKicks.
UPDATE: As CK pointed out, Jennings posted a pic of red Micro G Black Ice lows on Twitter and said that they were his shoes for tonight. Watch for that.
Sticking with the Chinese brands, Anta recently released a pic of what Kevin Garnett will be wearing on Sunday in his 14th appearance at the Game. Pic via CounterKicks.
Li-Ning will have Evan Turner in this silver edition of the Brass Monkey for the Rookie-Soph game. Pic via CounterKicks.
The Air Jordan 2011 isn’t the only shoe that JB will be showing off this weekend. Western Conference All-Stars (for now) Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony will be in red versions of their signature joints, the CP3 IV, and the Melo M7, respectively. Pics via Jumpman23.com.
Finally, a shot of the L.A.-themed Air Force 1 that Nike is commemorating this weekend with, again, via CounterKicks:
