APL’s to be Sold in Foot Locker

Looks like Foot Locker picked up distribution of our favorite jump-enhancing kicks. Our homies at CounterKicks have the info: “The world’s most expensive performance basketball shoe is now available at Foot Locker. The $300 priced Athletic Propulsion Labs Concept 1 shoe was spotted by sneaker customizer and CounterKicks friend EmmanueLabor who sent us these camera phone images from the Foot Locker/House of Hoops location in Tukwila, WA. CounterKicks reached APL co-founder Adam Goldston for comment on the new Foot Locker distribution channel and Goldston told us that APL is currently being market tested in a select group of top tier Foot Locker doors nationwide including the Beverly Center location in Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend. The APL brand (whose shoes were banned by the NBA) is also currently working on a wider 2011 retail roll out strategy with Foot Locker, Inc., which operates more than 3,500 retail stores worldwide. Previous to APL’s new Foot Locker partnership, the startup brand had only been accessible at brick-and-mortar retail in Modell’s Sporting Goods Times Square location in NYC.”

Yes, I’m sure Foot Locker will be stocking them for years to come as they move one pair per fiscal quarter.

If I ever see someone with those sh*ts on the court, I’m dunking on them barefooted just to prove a point! lol

I would buy these and just shoot threes all day and never play defense near the basket. Everyone on the sideline would be on the edge of their seat just to see if these shoes are for real. After 2 hours, I leave the gym and people still never know.

or you could buy safer more comfortable shoes and do a plyo program for like a month and youll be able to fly. cant use them in any organized game but i guess this might be nice for someone who is utterly lazy

i will buy them test them and then go home and cry in the shower because i spend 300$ on basketball shoes that didn t work..

Can’t you just go to footlocker, try them on and test there vert right there, and buy them if they work?
