The best way to chart Gil’s sneaker free agency.

Around this time last year, Gilbert Arenas was in a world of trouble and digging himself deeper by the tweet. He left Twitter when things got surrrious, after the NBA suspended him for the remainder of the season for bringing guns to the Wizards practice facility.
On Wednesday night, Gil returned to Twitter, with the handle @thesneakerchamp. It goes hand in hand with the launch of his new website, Sneakerchamp.gilbertarenas.com.
The site is a catalogue of every sneaker Gil has worn this year, starting with the Wizards’ season opener against the Knicks (Air Jordan IX Premio Bin 23). I’m not sure if Gil is running it himself, but it updated pretty quick after the Magic’s loss to the Heat on Thursday night (Foamposite One, pictured).
You can also head over to Gil’s personal site and make a bobblehead of yourself. And that’s fun.
Anyway, check out the site, hit Gil up for sneaker chat on Twitter (CounterKicks suggests that’s all he’s gonna talk about there, which might be for the best) and pick your favorite Gil kicks from this season. Personally, I like the Carolina Jordan Vs and XIVs. But I’m a sucker for black and teal like that.
