We’ve got a handful of Carmelo Anthony related news for you today.
First up, Melo will be rocking this green version of his Melo M7 sneaker tomorrow when the Knicks play the Grizzlies at MSG.

Second, with March Madness getting underway on Thursday, Melo will be showing support for his alma mater, rocking an orange makeup of the Melo M7 Future Sole on Friday when the Knicks face the Detroit Pistons. The shoe has also been made available to Syracuse players for their game on Thursday against Indiana State.

A little background on the Future Sole M7. Designed by 16-year-old Michigan native Allen Largin, whose design was chosen out of 22,000 entries in last year’s Future Sole design contest, Largin will get to see Melo wear the shoe for the first time against NBA competition, in his hometown.
The shoe has the word “Chelle” inscribed on it, in memory of Melo’s sister, Michelle, who died on Dec. 23.
As the winner of the Future Sole contest, Largin will receive $5,000 in computer equipment, a platinum certificate of $5,000 and a $5,000 donation to his high school. The Future Sole M7 launches on July 1 and will retail for $130 US.
