Bordeaux VII Midnight Releases On Friday

by Chris O’Leary/@olearychris

In anticipation of what should be a huge release this weekend, Footaction is hosting midnight launch events for the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux at five of its locations.

The events will kick off on Friday night at 11 p.m. and will have live music, raffles and prizes…and the first release of the Bordeaux VII since 1992. That too.

Events will be held at Westfield Culver City, Decatur and Atlanta, Four Seasons Town Center in Greensboro, North Carolina and at the 34th St. and 7th Ave store in NYC. For those of you who won’t be able to make it to the release party, check the fifth picture for a code that will get you free shipping at Footaction.com

Wait, someone’s hosting multi-city parties for the release of a SHOE? GTFOH.

A release party? Seriously? Man, this isn’t even close to the nicest Jordan out there, and they’re throwing a party for it.

Glad to see I’m not the only one unimpressed with this shoe. The gray is way too light.

    Just copped the other ones

These joints are the truth. I copped mine last Saturday. I remember back in junior high watching the school herbs getting robbed for these right on the playground. Poor kids. Wonder if they’d copp these and relive those traumatizing memories… Thinking about copping another pair btw…

@O lol you ain’t even kidding fam. These were the one of the shoes that really got me into sneakers…just beautiful

@ Black Kamla, man, you don’t even know. Growing up I couldn’t afford sneakers over $30. So now I kinda go crazy with the retros that I used to wish I had. These are one of them. I couldn’t even get in on the sneaker jacks with my crew because my parents knew the difference between $30 sneakers and $30+ sneakers. Anything that wasn’t solid black or white ALL around, was made of more than one material or didn’t have a well known cartoon character on them, was just too expensive to be on my feet.

I’ma keep it real, the seven’s are WACK!!!! Some good colourways, don’t get me wrong but this sneaker has more HYPED than the Rock coming back to the WWE!!!! Overall, the quality is poor and there’s glue everywhere…the grey is different to the original & the materials is cheap as hell! Get the Wolf Grey’s instead!
