Kicks: APL Concours Drop May 17

by Chris O’Leary/@olearychris

Athletic Propulsion Labs is back with a new sneaker. Pictures of the Concours went up on APL co-founder Adam Goldston’s Twitter account yesterday. The Concours is the second shoe from APL. This one has the same base as their initial sneak, the Concept 1, but the Concours has a more luxurious look, with leather and suede replacing the carbon graphite look that the Concept 1 had. The shoe still has the Load ‘N Launch technology, which Adam and his brother Ryan created to make you jump higher on the basketball court.

The shoes will sell on the APL website, beginning on May 17, with a $195 US price tag on them.

@niq, I thought the same thing. Looks like a little like a combination of the 23 and the Jordan 2010, I think.

what Rich said. Finally someone who can appreciate $195 for a pair of shoes isn’t bad at all. My £130 Supras arrived today for the summer time, they are crazy fresh.
