Jason Kidd finally got the sweet taste of a Championship this past NBA season. He started out his pro basketball career wearing the Swoosh and headlining classic silhouettes like the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 and Nike Zoom Flight V. Over the last few years, however, Kidd instead opted to switch endorsement deals and run with the Chinese-based brand PEAK.

When the Dallas Mavericks ousted the Miami Heat 105 to 95 this past June in the NBA Finals, Kidd wore a white and blue based makeup of the PEAK Kidd III. Should the NBA ever resume functioning again, you might see JKidd wear his next signature shoe that we preview today, the PEAK Kidd IV.

Dressed and shown in “home” and “away” based Mavericks colorways, Jason Kidd’s fourth signature shoe features a “CoolFree” material ventilation base wrapping the medial panel and tongue, with PEAK’s “Cushion-3″ foam providing impact protection duties underfoot. To make sure you know this is Kidd’s personal ride, the number “2″ shows up stylized on the heel.

Look for the PEAK Kidd IV to filter down to retail in China this fall. US fans of the Kidd line will likely continue to be locked out of PEAK product until a distribution strategy falls into place.
