Kicks: Jordan Brand Unveils All-Star Lineup

CP3, Melo and DWade’s signature shoes get the ASG ’12 treatment.

All-Star Weekend is a time for new, fresh kicks, so it comes as no surprise that Jordan Brand is rolling out a trio of new colorways for ASG starters Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul. When the game tips off in Orlando later this month, you’ll see the Fly Wade 2, Melo M8 and CP3.V done up in exclusive new looks, which you can peep above. Per Jordan, the All-Star inspired colorways will be hitting retail on Thursday, February 23. You can read all the details here.

Why so plain? Nike and adidas have orange, galaxy inspired sneakers and this is what JB comes up with.

1st two comments were pretty good.

whats so bad about the fly wades?

joke all you want but the Wades perform great, the colorways are kind of plain I must agree, but as far as performance goes the Wades are the best. The Melos are the worst though, I’ve never seen anybody balling in those.

Yuck, Jordan hasn’t tried since 2001. Kids don’t even know who Jordan is he is just selling the jumpman logo. Real Jordan heads wouldnt cut grass in the jays he puts out. If it ain’t retro it ain’t Jordan period.

    simplicity at its best

Yuck…c’mon Jordan. I wish there was just one nice shoe in the past…3 or so years that I could look to and say, “See? Sometimes they can still make decent shoes.” But sadly, that hasn’t happened. The inspiration, the innovation, the heart, is gone.

Jordan’s been done since 2006… even 07 was bad since than I don’t even want to look at these things.

i’m glad ppl are keeping it real with the comments on the JB. any other brand comes with crap like this and they get ripped to shreds. JB is surviving off its past, luckily for them most consumers are too dumb to know the difference
