Kicks: APL Concept 2 Bluegrass Blue

A new limited edition colorway from the geniuses at Athletic Propulsion Labs.

Today, Athletic Propulsion Labs released a limited edition Bluegrass Blue colorway of the APL Concept 2 shoe to celebrate March Madness. The APL Concept 2 uses the company’s original spring-based Load ‘N Launch technology that was banned by the NBA, and yet the Bluegrass Blues weigh just 15 ounces. The kicks promise to “both increase vertical leap and enhance maneuverability on the court” and also come in White. The APL Concept 2—already the company’s fastest-selling shoe in history since being unveiled in January—retails at $175 and is available exclusively online at AthleticPropulsionLabs.com.

They better make you do NBA-Jam-esque dunks, these are ugh-ly.

Yes, the “geniuses” who figured out that using springs makes you jump higher. How are these guys still revelant?

$175? Geez. Most are going to just get a pair of Kobes, LeBrons, or Jordans and just work on their jumpshot.
