Last night, the New York Knicks took to the court at Madison Square Garden and thrashed the Portland Trail Blazers. High above the basketball action, in a luxury suite decorated for the occasion, Reebok made an announcement of their own.

With Mike Posner and Rick Ross—and Swizz Beatz, who’s been aligned with the company for a minute—on hand, Reebok presented their Spring ’12 campaign that will focus on re-releasing some of their iconic footwear from the 1980’s, including the Ex-o-Fit, WorkOut and Freestyle.

Entitled “It Takes a Lot to Make a Classic,” the multi-platform—print, TV, web—campaign will feature the aforementioned hip-hop artists as well as Young Money rapper, Tyga.

We’ll have a lot more info for you later, including quotes from all of the involved parties, but for now just know that the Massachusetts-based company is really investing a lot in bringing Reebok Back.
