Under Armour’s Spine RPM (KICKS)

Last week, Under Armour unveiled its newest footwear collection, the Spine RPM, which is comprised of “a responsive inner core, revolutionary UA Micro G foam inside for flexibility and support, and an ultra-lightweight UA Spine Cage on the sole of the shoe that keeps the foot locked in place, ensuring the athlete a smooth transition from heel to toe.” Under Armour athletes Tom Brady, Kemba Walker and Lindsey Vonn were on hand at the unveiling in New York City to debut the kicks and the company’s “This Is How We Run” campaign.

The Spine collection will be among the most flexible, lightweight shoes on the market thanks to a design that takes cues from the human spine. The UA Spine RPM footwear collection will be available beginning June 29, 2012 for men, women and youth; the men’s and women’s line will have a suggested retail price of $99.99, and grade school for $79.99.
