$250 for ugly. Not just that is the pictures of them on Russ’s feet, they look sloppy. Like Ugg make basketball sneakers for the first time. Next thing you know the 14 year old girls out there will be rocking these with Lulu Lemon pants. Absolutely brutal looking. Using the Zoom properly is great but don’t cover the shoe with an early ’90′s Body Glove water shoe.

let’s copy GP’s shoe from 15 years ago and sell it for 250$ since some morons will buy because it has the jordan logo on it!

  • RayJr

Hatfield says he thinks of these Js as objects of art and design…anyone of us could’ve designed the shoe. Anyone can design shoes and just say “Oh I can’t come up with a great design so I’ll just put a sleeve over it so you dont really see the shoe”.
Also just don’t like basketball shoes where you can’t get to the laces easy

I’m french and i thought it was about scoop jackson

I think its totally ridiculous that Nike and the Jordan Brand is selling these shoes now in days at $250 Plus.first the lebron 10 is 270 dollars now the Jordan 28 is 250 I litterly pay a car note that much and furthermore the economy is not in a financial state to where we can pay these prices I mean really it’s not the 90′s those days are gone.now don’t get me wrong I really like this you but only because it put me in a mind of the son of glove but for this price I will just wait for the son of glove to retro

Women don’t wear Uggs because of their appearance — they wear them because they’re remarkably comfortable and effective cold weather boots. The Uggs technology works. And like UGGS, it seems that JB spent most — if not all — their design resources on this shoes’ technology. I bet it’s a very effective, as well. Russell certainly seemed used them well, last night.

I would almost make an appeal to ballers worldwide not to buy this because of the ugly design and pathetic price. Insecure people call people who disagree with them haters…

  • danpowers

one thing people should probably remember about that and any other jordan: they cost like 100 bucks too much

  • theDankerNuggets

These are really weird and it would not surprise me at all if no one at all is rocking these in a year, but after reading this piece I think I also would not be too surprised to see these blow up

  • Ugh

Someone told me that this $250 shoe was assembled in an American sweatshop after being manufactured in an Asian one. I guess this is Nike offering Americans employment opportunities after financial crisis, right?

  • bringbackthesonics

“Hatfield showed a sketch of the XX8 that uses bamboo instead of carbon fiber” this just screams asian sweatshop

    Hideous!

“We know they’re will be lots of haters on this one,but that’s OK….you sort of want about 40 percent of the people to be
haters. That creates a lot of emotion and people argue, and that
heightens the conversation.” —Hatfield. So JB is purposely trolls us with these wack shoes to gain attention, nice.

why would i want wrinkly foreskin over my shoe?

  • LakeShow

Chutzpah? Is that Yiddish or something?

Jordan’s have always been expensive, so nobody should be surprised at the price tag. I myself, I kind of like them, and I know I’m not by myself.
