Athletic Propulsion Labs fully unveiled their all new Concept 3 shoe today, adding the next chapter to the brand’s buzz-worthy footwear line that allows you to “Stop Dreaming, Jump Higher.” Our first look at the Concept 3 came earlier this month as APL teased it via Vine video loop, and later with profile and outsole shots hinting at a streamlined, vented appearance. Turns out that that vented upper is a combo of an open-air mesh bootie for fit and comfort, and a new tech called FioZone that the brand says “utilizes a variety of synthetic materials placed in strategic locations for lock-down and support.”
From there, the three-quarters height is matched with low-profile tooling that houses APL’s patented and NBA-banned Load ‘N Launch technology that enables wearers to increase their vertical leap. APL redesigned the insole to work in unison with the performance sockliner and internal shank plate, all of which is paired with an outsole layout significantly reworked from the Concept 1 andConcept 2.
