I’m a fan of this shoe. Love my pair.

Any recommendations for a sturdy / solid pair of outdoors kicks? (these look like indoors only) Thanks!

go with some of the older lebrons, fred. they’re pretty durable.

@fred34. I actually got to be part of a wear-test of these that was held outside, and I wrote about it for a special issue that’s coming out in a few days. They played great outside and are absolutely intended for that use…

@fred34 and @frank: LeBrons are certainly super durable as well.

I still have my Lebron Zooms from around 2005. They’re barely holdin’ on, but that’s after years of serious outdoor use (not to mention a series of winter seasons). Oh yeah, these Hyperfuse are dope too.

    real fresh.

Thanks a bunch peoples – “older LBJ Zooms / from 2005″ – you guys mean like a “Nike Zoom Soldier III” @ http://tinyurl.com/3xp3abm ? thanks!

fred34 – Can’t go wrong with LeBron II’s (The one with the removable strap)… best shoes in that line. http://lh3.ggpht.com/_YODg65nll_o/R4AXdIVO9uI/AAAAAAAAfEY/29cLiDYxOTk/s800/lbj2_og_blk-wht-red3-03.jpg

I have a fractured bone in my foot and Lebron’s help protect (cruddy HMO)… had been wearing the III’s for a long time, but have gotten the VII’s and the VII POP’s….and they feel great. Actually KB IV’s are not all that bad after you get used to them, they feel light, but they do give cushioning and protection.
