    A bit of both. A hoop shoe depending on the uniform or shorts if you rec league or something. Nothing more.

    I’m 5’7″, 160 lbs., and I play every day. Not even close to fat.

    Nike sucks. The Hyperfuse is just one of a long line of terrible basketball products Nike has produced. Can’t remember the last good pair of basketball shoes Nike came out with.

    These shoes are pretty fresh and feel quite nice I must say. If you don’t like then you are a fool.

    what kicks do you prefer to hoop in then? I can’t remember adidas or reebok making better shoes than Nike’s. I usually like to wear kicks that go against the norm but Nike zooms have always been the best kicks to me.

    I play in New Balance running shoes. I don’t care how I look. I just know they feel way better than any of the other basketball crap that’s been on the market for the last 5 years or so.

    Nobody would be saying that Nike basketball shoes were any good if: (i) they were sold somewhere like K-Mart, and (ii) nike didn’t sponsor nba players like kobe, lebron, etc.

    fugliest colorway ever…and papa smurf has very strange feet if he thinks that balling in running shoes > all nike shoes…I’ve been happy with all but 1 pair of Nikes that I’ve ever owned.

    Have you tried on the Hyperfuse? Or even seen them in person? They are cheap crap. I can’t believe Nike is trying to pawn this junk off on the public. I was excited when I heard about these shoes – basketball shoes with mesh like running shoes. Should have been perfect for me. Took a look and tried them on. They’re crap. End of story.

    Nike dominates the market so it’s hard to find a shoe that is not a Nike. Go to Footlocker or the mall and they don’t carry any non Nike hoop shoes and when they do the price is too high so everybody simply chooses Nike. Adidas makes the best hooping shoes to me, but to be honest I’m older than most of the people I play against and I grew up playing in Adidas Ewings so I can wear anything and serve young cats. But if I had to rank the worst balling shoes I would have to say the worst I ever played in were Jordan 16′s with the tongue. I was a high school head coach and I gave the shoes to one of my kids. Second worse was this Reebok from 95 that you could write the number on the stitches in the back. The JUCO I played for wore those and they felt terrible but two pair of socks and my ankle braces and I could deal. The best pair of shoes I played in recently, Adidas Superstars. The best Nike I played in was the David Robinson Air Max joints. Last shoes I wore to get a double double in the faculty vs parents game at my high school this year, my own shoes which aren’t hooping shoes but I still dropped 15 and 10. Either way, Nike has flooded the market and it’s not good for sneakerheads in general.

    Nike is king of the kicks period. Like what your boo be on for seven days? this particular style is what shoe technology, or should i say basketball shoe technology all about! like Barkely said on his old Right Guard adds ” anything else is uncivilized.” if you neve been frequent flyer you wouldn’t understand.

    hyperfuse are the best kicks i have tried on and played in, ankle support is good and they are light enough, surely it is down to personal opinion. and i cant see nike getting worse apparently
