Best High School Dunks 2008
Treating the bucket like scrap metal.
by Justin Walsh
College basketball has no idea what it’s in for. Demar Derozan may be exposed as a man with (to paraphrase from a Pac-10 scout I overheard at the Nike SayNo Classic) “stupid hops,” but do they have any clue that 15 other guys are about to make more posters than a printing press on the NCAA? I doubt it. Attention Bob Huggins, Mike Krzyzewski, Jim Calhoun; it’s time to open your eyes and gawk at the future highlight reels of college basketball. Mr. Thabeet, come get you some of this transition jaw loosening glory! Any defenders who feel a need for national press coverage, simply stand pat on the baseline and get smashed on. SLAM faithful, I give you:
Demar Derozan
John Wall
Jrue Holiday
Victor Rudd
Charles Odom
Michael Snaer
Jeremy Tyler
Renardo Sidney
Dwyane Polee
Shannon Sharpe
D’Sean Anderson
Guy Landry
Clarence Trent
Gerard Anderson
Kevin Young
Dick Vitale, get your superlatives ready.

Win a Ring For the King
The LeBron and Shaq show starts now!

Also, that kid who drove and then dunked, plus that one-handed tip jam were nastiness.
PS. White guys in high school are still not dunking. Damn shame.
