Slamadaday: Al-Farouq Aminu on Jon Scheyer

Excellent shot selection.

Not only did Al-Farouq get nasty on Jon Scheyer with this nasty put-back, but the freshman ran the floor in the second half to finish this between-the-legs pass from Ishmael Smith.

I DID love this game, but where is the Gerald Henderson SLAM when he drove by Johnson and reverse yanked on 7 footer McFarland? That was a WOW dunk. This was a filthy putback, but can I get an honorable mention dunk? hah

Here’s the SICK Gerald Henderson reverse JAM on the 7 footer (and1)

Wake is talented. Aminu is a beast.

The only thing sicker than Gerald Henderson’s dunk last night was his receding hair line.

Nolan Smith and Singler on the last play?

Aminu is a beast. His shot could use some work, but I’m impressed by his handle and, obviously, his ridiculous length.

By the transitive property of ACC basketball, VaTech > Duke, right? right? Ok, i’ll shut up now.

That was a great putback, but he’d get fu*cked up if someone actually tried to box him out on the rebound- there was no way he could stop his momentum going that fast. Also, he runs a real risk of giving up a fast-break bucket if he misses the rebound- only 1 perimeter defender who could make a legitimate defensive play ie. charge. Any other option would likely result in a foul from reaching from behind on a block attempt or from a steal…still the gamble paid off big time in this case.

    that was ok!
anyone see the fast break reverse between the legs pass by smith to aminu for the dunk????
