Slamadaday: David Lee on Amar’e Stoudemire

Yes, Amar’e Stoudemire did the same thing back on the Knicks later in the game, but that doesn’t matter. Why? Because of two things, and two things only: 1) David did it first, and 2) The Knicks won.

I repeat, the Knicks won. And David Lee deserves a lot of the credit.

    meh, I guess. though lackluster weakness of the dunk and the way Amare laid out Lee like a biatch almost makes it a tie. But the ball did go in (although it seemed entirely by accudent) so i guess Lee wins.

    The dunk Amar’e threw on Tim Thomas later was so violent that it actually reversed the rotation of the earth and stopped this dunk from taking place.

    That’s not a slam. That’s a guy (Lee) getting whacked as he tries to dunk and somehow the ball goes in. It’s not a slam if you’re on the floor and you didn’t even see the ball trickle in.
